I googled mentalrollerderby to see if it was still around and found a link to the Testzone. Anyway it would be good to start blogging again, I'm really not a Facebook kind of gal.

Yeah, I'm on it, but I don't pay attention to it much. I've got so many other things I want to figure out. Facebook seems trivial to me. There I said it. I'd much rather struggling with the Snow Leopard install on the old P4.

Arrg! as in trying to set this up with "Flog" on Facebook, and then getting sidetracked.

Well... now I'm trying to find all the images lost from the Archives. Also fretting about all those links on the Archive pages which go nowhere and do nothing. And, do I really want to float all this "old stuff" out there again. And, then there are two macs with minor problems that are begging me to fix them. As is the case most of the time, I'm trying to do/think 5 things at once.

This template "stuff" after years go by is almost as bad as trying to remember statistics, and you know how bad that was. Anyway, I got frustrated with my old template and changed over to a new one. So it's a clean slate.

Spending the Night by myself

Last night I was alone in my house. Sleep never came. My best friend Abbott who's lived with me for about 10 years died yesterday. When I went to his room to wake him up, he was already gone. All day I was wishing I could go back to bed, and get up again so things would be different. I would like to think he's gone to Paris. We had been talking about going there for quite awhile. He wanted to show me a beautiful forest just outside of Paris. Today, August 14th is Abbott's birthday; he would have been 82. I don't know if my writing today, means I'll be writing again on a regular basis. I look at the post below, that I posted, but didn't publish in May, and so can't really say. My house of cards seems to be falling down, and the car needing a clutch, and much more sits in front of it. And I find no pleasure in the fact that the internet is still here. If writing feels good I'll do it, if it doesn't I won't.

Where the hell have you been?

Well, it's a long story, but to make a long story short, I've been in another world.

Huh?
Okay, I'll be a little bit more specific. For one thing, I finally graduated from Loyola. Actually, I received my degree in the mail in October of 2002; so this was the walk down the isle part of it. The ceremony itself was long, and foot dogging; however, I had a big party that night which was great fun.

What else?
I'm working on designing/redesigning three web sites. One is a Baltimore City Councilmember election site. The second is an Annapolis garden/patio company, and the third is for a watch company in Denver.
